Sales Manager (Bologna, IT)

In this role you will work as a sales professional and account manager at BRAV, an integrated company at EasyPark. You will engage with multiple customers in top tier cities like Rome, Palermo, Turin, Genova, Verona, Bologna, Messina and many more. We are looking for a professional with at least 5 years of experience in business-to-business or business-to-government sales who enjoys interacting with municipalities and engaging in tenders.

The Role

BRAV is helping cities to fully digitalize their parking enforcement and parking permits. What BRAV can offer through their sophisticated and fully digital solutions is innovating the industry and helping cities and parking operators to increase the automation and efficiency of the parking business. As an integrated company under the EasyPark umbrella, this role means close collaboration with EasyPark Italia. The office of BRAV is located in Vignola, close to Bologna and Modena.

Your Contribution and Impact

As Sales Manager at BRAV, you will be responsible for progress and results with partners, mainly consisting of cities and private parking operators throughout Italy.

Being able to cooperate at the executive level is essential as a great part of the communication with the partners will be directly with CEOs of city-owned mobility companies and “Assessori” from Italian municipalities as well as the police. The role is broad, mixing sales and business development skills with the ability to establish new partnerships as well as developing and maintaining existing ones. The role covers everything from analysis, initial customer prospect contact, pre-sales, and negotiating agreements. Being proactive in taking part in tenders will also be an important focus in this role. You will lead and guide the partners all the way towards improving the digitization of their parking activities through permits and parking enforcement.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as solid understanding of stakeholder management
  • Strategic thinking and ability to quickly understand how to address the partner and/or customers’ needs and how to adapt the offering of BRAV accordingly while promoting scalable solutions
  • Commercially driven with excellent negotiation skills
  • Ability to develop, structure and present strong business cases for potential and current partners
  • Naturally collaborative with great problem solving and prioritization skills
  • Ability to handle a broad variety of tasks without prestige
  • You welcome change and new challenges
  • Energetic and proactive with the will to eagerly follow up

Your Background

We don’t think one size fits all, but a successful candidate might have the following:

  • At least 5 years of work experience in business to business or business to government sales
  • Previous sales experience with public administrations and municipalities (comuni)
  • A demonstrated track record of being involved in successful tenders
  • Knowledge of a sales/CRM system (e.g., Salesforce, Sugar) as well as basic office systems (e.g. word, excel, powerpoint, email)
  • Willingness to travel 60-80% of the time
  • 3+ years account management experience or consulting experience
  • Knowledge/work experience of the mobility, parking industry
  • Experience in IT (software, hardware, systems integration)

Language Requirements

  • Italian mother tongue or C2
  • English level B2 is mandatory, it will be tested during the first interview

This role reports to the BRAV office in Vignola, close to Bologna and Modena.
