The Social Media Manager will harness the power of social media to drive change. In this role, you will establish the social roadmap for how our corporate brand and products are activated, while spearheading new programs across emerging social technologies and innovations. You will set a new standard on how to value social media impact across B2B and B2B2C engagements.
Define the roadmap for how our corporate brand and products are activated across all social channels, which includes developing and leading a robust social media content calendar and strategy
Build measurable and authentic social-first campaigns in service of brand & business goals across current social media accounts (LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter)
Become the expert in resident for social media innovations and trends, offering recommendations for extensions into new channels
Inspire and partner with a stellar team of creatives to produce high-quality and action-oriented content
Collaborate with supporting teams such as Brand, Demand Generation, Product Marketing, Partnerships and others to activate strong multi-channel integrated marketing programs
Build processes for responding to credible brand mentions in a timely, authoritative, and authentic way
Own all social media account operations and communications from organic posts to brand mentions to customer comments to community
Develop social media growth plans to achieve departmental and company KPIs
Create analytics dashboards to continuously monitor the impact of each social media account on brand and demand generation
Bachelor’s degree in journalism, marketing, communications or related field 5-8+ years of proven experience working in social media marketing and/or communications (preferably in SaaS, technology or mobility industry), targeting both B2B and B2C audiences A digital marketing portfolio of produced social media marketing work
Digital-first creator: sure, you can craft killer copy, translate emotion into graphics and drive decisions through infographics, but you can do much more. You understand the value of each platform and can morph a brand voice into a siren’s song to captivate and motivate your audience.
Collaboration skills: you excel when working with creatives (copywriters, designers, and more) to concept-ship-iterate, and can lead teammates as well as contribute alongside them. 5+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams.
Innovation leader: you thrive on the cutting edge of social experimentation; quick to adopt new technologies, exploring emerging mediums and experimenting with output
Flexibility: you are nimble, adaptable and unflappable by change, while able to see the big picture
Data-driven: you’re skilled in analyzing, valuing and optimizing social performance to ensure you’re next post will be your best post, and highly experienced in analytics tools Hootsuite, Khoros, Sprout Social, Dynamic Signal, etc.
