N2 Support Engineer (Besançon, FR)


Job Description

Attached to the support payment team, the level 2 support engineer will be responsible for providing the functional and technical support necessary for the use and maintenance of our systems, both at the level of subsidiaries and distributors. and major accounts, in an international context. He will be in charge of the Back office transport payment and Open Payment software range.

He will be in charge of ensuring, in parallel, technical training related to projects and / or products.


  • Provide level 2 application support for the Payment entity's product ranges to our distributors, our level 1 support teams, our partners and key accounts.
  • Ensure a technical lead posture for the implementation and performance of technical testing phases.
  • Ensure the internal and external communication necessary for the use and maintenance of our products, for example: functional communication of new versions and technical procedures for support teams
  • Provide training for our products to the technical teams of the L1 support of the subsidiaries and to the distributors.
  • Participate in the monitoring of new functionality pilots
  • Identify issues, communicate them to stakeholders and propose an action plan to resolve the priorities for any crisis management
  • Be responsible for the application of the associated processes and tools, defined by the quality department and the HSE system


  • Coming from a back office software engineer or IT administrator background, you ideally have proven experience of around three years in technical support for customers.
  • You are recognized for your technical software skills and your ability to manage / prioritize emergencies.
  • You are also endowed with good interpersonal and communication skills. Faced with customer requests, you know how to be available for optimal listening and quality advice.
  • Versatile and curious, you are recognized for your adaptability and flexibility within a technical team, promoting autonomy and collective technical problem solving.
  • Fluency in English is essential, both written and spoken.
