As a core member of our Digital Marketing operations team, the Marketing Automation Manager will work closely with key stakeholders across Genetec Marketing to lead our marketing automation practice. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Digital Marketing, you will be a key player in activities that cover the spectrum of marketing automation activities: campaign configuration, lead management, nurturing, scoring, conversion, and reporting.
You will be our in-house marketing automation expert, guiding your peers around the world, coordinating the work of various digital agencies and freelancers, and more.
What Your Day Will Look Like:
Owns the marketing automation practice: vision & strategy, processes, documentation, best practices, and training
Own lead lifecycle management, nurturing and scoring in our Marketo marketing automation platform
Collaborate with your stakeholders to build innovative campaigns, manage incoming requests to create emails and campaign landing pages, develop A/B testing approach, and monitor campaign performance
Optimize campaigns alongside key stakeholders such as the Demand Generation, Product Marketing and Industry Marketing teams
Work alongside other Digital, CRM Marketing, and data teams to consolidate and connect our data and metrics
Help with the management of leads and data quality in Marketo and/or the CRM
You are someone who is on the road to becoming a digital marketing expert and always eager to work with the latest digital tools such as the Marketo Marketing Automation Platform (MAP) and Bloomreach headless web Content Management System (CMS) to name a few.
You are naturally curious and always looking to learn new things, but you are just as comfortable with jumping right into our various digital tools to get the job done. Your default approach is to collaborate with others, and you’re always looking to drive projects to the finish line with a proactive mindset.
5+ years of digital experience with a proven track record in digital marketing
Hands-on email marketing experience with a marketing automation platform or MAP (eg. Marketo, HubSpot, Pardot or equivalent) or email marketing platform (eg. MailChimp, or equivalent)
Deep understanding of lead management, lead scoring and nurturing
2+ years experience managing campaign execution across multiple channels, building campaign landing pages, defining nurturing and scoring mechanisms
Strong written & verbal communications; English mandatory, second language an asset
Great if you have:
Marketo Certification or equivalent
Experience working with external digital agencies & freelancers
Understanding or hands-on experience in
A/B testing for both email campaigns and web pages
Audience segmentation, the marketing funnel, and campaign management
Account-Based Marketing (ABM)
CRM lead management
Previously Worked With on or More of the Following Platforms:
Customer Relationship Management (CRM), eg. Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM or Salesforce
Analytics & Data Visualization platforms, eg. Microsoft Power BI or Tableau
Comfortable working with project and task management tools – WRIKE (or similar such as Asana/Trello)
