Summary of Role

To provide local on-site operations engineering support to ensure the continued execution and provision of repair / refurbished materials to satisfy customer requirements.

To support product knowledge, provide training and advice to a third party to ensure the integrity of the Ingenico standards are met at all times. Other duties involve supporting the introduction of change requests to ensure the optimum product standards are maintained. In addition, supporting key loading and other security requirements.

Qualifications, Skills, Experience

  • Essential to be fluent in English / Polish
  • Computer Proficiency – Advanced knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office applications is essential for this position (particularly excel/word)
  • Familiar with industry rework and repair standards
  • Experience of technical repair activities in a reverse logistic environment within an electronics industry
  • Demonstrable experience of diagnostic and repair activities to component level utilizing standard test equipment and specific technical documentation
  • Experienced in the use and application of lean tools and techniques to analyze and optimize operational issues
  • Familiar and experienced in change control processes and requirements
  • Technical training and knowledge transfer
  • Degree in Electronics Engineering or relevant business experience

Key Tasks

  • Monitor daily technical repair standards, volumes, issues, and escalations
  • Provide local technical support and guidance to third party technicians to support the repair process as required
  • Create a change control forum to ensure appropriate ECOs etc., are implemented as required
  • Ensure robust control systems are in place and respected to satisfy the business and customers’ requirements
  • Provide on-site training and support to ensure requirements are clearly understood and executed as required

External Relationships

Key relationship with third party supplier and on-site repair technicians to ensure service and support is maintained to the appropriate contractual and industry standards

Internal Relationships

Regional and functional technical leads – reporting and business interface to ensure technical repair issues are highlighted and addressed in an appropriate manner.

Group and regional engineering to ensure appropriate configuration and quality standards are maintained and respected.
