The Spirit of the Position:

The .Net Developer role works as part of the LAZ Application Development team to build software using languages and technologies of the .NET framework. The LAZ Application Development team supports all LAZ Parking’s critical business applications across the US, driving business in over 2800 parking locations and corporate offices. In addition, the team supports existing package’s and custom applications as well as building new applications to support our employees, clients, and customers in the field.

Principal Job Duties:

  • Participate in requirements analysis.
  • Providing technical support for web applications and cloud services.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture.
  • Write clean, testable, scalable code using C# and VB.Net.
  • Test and deploy applications and systems.
  • Revise, update, refactor and debug code.
  • Improve existing software.
  • Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support.
  • Create applications from scratch, configure existing systems and provide user support.
  • Work with internal teams to design, develop and maintain software.
  • Upgrading, configuring, and debugging existing systems.
  • Configure and deploy Azure resources.

Education

  • BS in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field or comparable work experience.

Experience:

  • Full-stack .NET developer
  • Familiarity with ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, VB.NET, C#, SQL, Powershell, Javascript, Angular, jQuery, CSS, HTML.
  • 5 years minimum experience with .NET languages.
  • Experience writing reusable, standardized APIs.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Azure’s App Services, Managed Databases, Function Apps, Active Directory, Enterprise Applications.
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and its related tools (SSMS, SSRS, SSIS)
