The Spirit of the Position:
The Administrative Assistant will provide support for the Tax, Legal & Compliance department which includes, but is not limited to the following tasks:
Create and maintain filing system (heavy volume)
Maintain contracts database
Process jurisdictional paperwork and legal recordings
Answer email queries
Maintain license database
Internal location database support
Open and process incoming mail/packages/faxes
Scanning & Faxing
General correspondence and administrative duties
High school degree required, Associate level degree desired
Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook - critical
Ability to operate office equipment, i.e., copiers, fax, postage machine, etc.
Ability to multi-task and work in fast paced environment
High degree of commitment to customer satisfaction
Well-organized approach to job responsibilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with all levels of corporate structure
Strong proof-reading ability
Ability to set priorities for workload
Ability to consistently maintain a pleasant, cordial composure regardless of stressful situations
Ability to work effectively in a team setting
Strong interpersonal skills
Motivation to make improvements to existing processes
3-5 years of administrative experience required
Two years of college preferred
Ability to lift, push and pull at least 10 pounds.
