The Spirit of the Position:

LAZ Parking is looking for a Hiring Coordinator to join our New Hire Concierge Desk team! The Hiring Ambassador reports to the Talent Acquisition Manager and is “the voice of LAZ” for candidates who have been selected for hire across LAZ. S/he is responsible for establishing a trusting relationship with candidates via phone and to guide them through the required steps to finalize their employment with LAZ. Supporting the talent acquisition effort in more than 25 states, the Hiring Ambassador is an essential part of a seamless transition for the 6,000+ new LAZ Family members who are hired every year!

Responsibilities:

  • Initiate communication with candidates selected for hire to guide them through the new hire process.
  • Release and review new hire documents and follow-up as needed to ensure timely completion.
  • Be “the voice of LAZ” to build rapport and establish a trusting relationship with candidates via phone.
  • Manage ticketing system and correspondence with candidates and regional HR teams throughout hiring process.
  • Update hiring reports and keep track of the status of candidates who are in the new hire process.
  • Respond to requests and tickets with a sense of urgency.
  • Process file uploads into LAZ HR system(s).
  • Initiate and review pre-employment screening tests and results.
  • Follow new hire work flow to ensure processes are completed according to service level agreements.
  • Respond with a sense of urgency to any questions from candidates regarding the new hire process, including logging into systems, completing forms, locations for pre-employment screening, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience:

  • 1-2 years customer service experience
  • 1-2 years related HR administration experience preferred, not required

Skills:

  • Prior experience with HRIS or other HR technology desired but not required
  • Knowledge of a ticketing system
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Strong internet skills using external websites
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks through to completion in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work well with team members as well as independently
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage time in order to meet set deadlines
  • Proven problem-solving abilities
  • Attention to detail and high-level of accuracy required

  • Ability to lift, push and pull at least 10 pounds.
