The Spirit of the Position:

We are looking for a Full-Time Human Resources Coordinator to join our New York/New Jersey team. As a company devoted to promoting an employee-focused servant leadership culture, the Human Resources Coordinator will act as a liaison between the programs and initiatives originating from our home office and help to support the individual needs of our operational teams throughout the NY/NJ market.


  • Handles day-to-day payroll transactions and assists the field operations as needed.
  • Acts as liaison between Home Office payroll department and Regional HR, as well as payroll and management staff to assure accurate and timely delivery of payroll services in compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Process payroll and maintain payroll information as required to include completing payroll correction forms and other payroll tracking items.
  • Responsible for employee maintenance in HRIS system including processing all status changes, terminations and labor allocations.
  • Assist HR Generalist with analytics, data and reporting to identify better ways to drive results.
  • Prepare and maintain standard and ad hoc reports, queries, and conduct appropriate audits to ensure data integrity.
  • Responsible for union billing
  • Other related administrative duties as assigned.


  • 1-3 years administrative experience
  • Prior experience with HRIS or other HR technology desired but not required


  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word, strong internet skills using external websites
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage time in order to meet set deadlines
  • Attention-to-detail and high-level of accuracy required
  • Excellent team-building and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to interpret policies, procedures, and standard business practices.
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency and timeliness.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift, push and pull at least 10 pounds.
