The Spirit of the Position:
The Payroll Administrator is responsible for the administration of the Regional(s) payroll systems. The Payroll Administrator is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of payroll and related client service, including record-keeping and reporting.
Responsible for the preparation and processing of bi-weekly payroll for over 2500 employees using online payroll system ADP Vantage and time keeping system Time Force.
Review and ensure accuracy of approved timesheets.
Maintain payroll information and records required to complete a weekly “Regional Scorecard” for CA meal breaks, payroll correction forms and other payroll tracking items.
Maintain employee records; ensure that employee changes are entered correctly and made on a timely basis; review changes for proper authorization.
Performs filing and upkeep of employee payroll records.
Provides time and attendance support to field managers.
Assists field managers and employees with questions related to payroll, leave accruals, wage deductions, and pay issues.
Generate and prepare payroll reports in Excel and ad hoc format.
Familiar with ADP Vantage and Time Force time keeping preferred.
Must be a self-starter and able to accomplish expected tasks under minimal supervision; Ability to multi-task and maintain composure under pressure.
Detail-oriented, quantitative thinker who are adept at noticing errors and spend a lot of time completing calculations and audits.
In order to succeed must be able to multi-task and prioritize as well as remain highly organized.
Intermediate to advanced computer skills with proven understanding of payroll systems (ADP and/or Time Force).
Trustworthy and possess a thorough understanding of the importance of confidentiality and non-disclosure.
Must have the ability to exercise a high degree of diplomacy and tact, excellent customer services and interpersonal communication skills.
California regulatory payroll compliance.

Ability to lift, push and pull at least 10 pounds.
