The Spirit of the Position:

The Regional Talent Acquisition Manager reports to the National Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition and is responsible for managing recruitment in the LA market, developing and maintaining relationships with local agencies, and managing a team. This is a high-demand role, responsible for managing an average of 200 (hospitality and commercial locations) open positions and new openings monthly.

Principal Job Duties:

  • Strategically works towards ensuring all open positions are filled as soon as possible while reducing time-to-fill metrics.
  • Works with the General Managers and management teams to ensure all needs are being met for their locations.
  • Plans, coordinates and executes staffing plan for new accounts - hiring anywhere from 20-150 people for new openings.
  • Works with local HR Business Partners to plan, coordinate and execute transition projects – onboarding anywhere from 10-200 existing employees at locations.
  • Partners with local HR Business Partners for all internal transfers within the LA market.
  • Ensures team KPIs are being met and all sources are being utilized efficiently and effectively.
  • Ensures all job titles and job descriptions posted externally are accurate.
  • Assists team with active searches for vacant positions as needed.
  • Facilitates monthly meetings with entire Talent Acquisition team to discuss strategic recruitment plans for anticipated openings.
  • Develops processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency with the team to reduce open position numbers.
  • Attends job fairs as necessary to assist team with interviewing or onboarding front line employees.
  • Develops and implements recruiting strategies that fit business needs and budget considerations.
  • Partners with the Home Office New Hire Concierge Desk to ensure that talent acquisition procedures are completed.
  • Reviews background checks as needed for hiring decisions.
  • Work with management to develop referral programs.
  • Create email templates for active searches to invite them to apply to LAZ open positions.
  • Trains all new managers on Jobvite (applicant tracking system).
  • Approves team timecards and paid time off requests.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.

Experience:

  • 5 years of high-volume Talent Acquisition Supervisory/Management experience and/or experience in a recruiting role for multi-site front-line staff.
  • Must be proficient in Excel, Word, Power Point and general Microsoft Office Applications.
