Acquisition Manager (Bristol, UK)

We are looking for 2 Acquisition Managers who will join our Acquisition Team at NCP.

The Acquisition Managers will identify, appraise and deliver existing car parks within the UK, and identify, appraise and deliver vacant land, capable of becoming a car park. They will have a key role in creating and growing a strong pipeline of new opportunities, ensuring strong relationships with key stakeholders within towns and cities, including major landlords, land owners and developers.

Our Acquisition Manager will be based in the South of England, will be happy to work from the comfort of their home and travel to locations in and around Bristol.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

  • Identification and delivery of new car parks to the business, either from existing sites or the creation of new ones
  • Ensure growth of the estate through site acquisition, new leases and management agreements, ensuring any new business delivers set hurdle rates for capital investment
  • Deliver set targets (number of sites and EBITDA) for the opening of new car parks from within an allocated UK patch
  • Build, maintain and manage a robust pipeline of opportunities, including a detailed sales process, contact and activity database
  • Ensure and take ownership for the production of all relevant compliance documents, adhering to Company procedures and SODA’s.
  • Ensure the company is protected, both legally and commercially, through robust and compliant Heads of Terms, Leases and Agreements
  • Liaise with the wider business to ensure new sites are delivered efficiently and on-time, to maximise benefit to the business and manage Capex and on-going costs

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, as Acquisition Surveyors, in the leased market
  • Proven acquisitions/sales track record of delivering targeted results
  • Experience of dealing with the property commercial and legal framework (preferred)
  • Previous experience in retail and in the parking industry (preferable)
  • Proven negotiation ability and commercial acumen
  • Excellent understanding of profit and loss accounts and an ability to financially model
  • Knowledge and experience of landlord & tenant and planning legislation (preferred)
  • Excellent communication, sales and negotiation skills
  • Full UK driving License (must have)
