We are Parking Sense, one of the fastest-growing parking technology providers in the world. With Global operations across the USA, Europe and Australasia, we are looking for a Director of Sales, Western US, to lead our sales efforts in 21 western states.

In this position, you will oversee regional sales teams, develop and execute strategic plans to identify and hunt for new customers based on our ideal customer profile, promote our industry-leading technology, and ultimately help the world park better.

Sales at Parking Sense

Approximately 115 million cars and trucks are used to commute to work in America every day, according to the 2016 American Community Survey, and all those cars must park somewhere. For many, parking is more stressful than driving.

That’s where we come in. Our revolutionary parking guidance and data management system provides hassle-free parking for drivers while optimizing parking facilities with cutting edge analytical software.

Working out of the Southern California and Nevada area, the Director of Sales, Western US, will oversee all sales in the Western region’s four territories – West, South, Pac West, and Los Angeles & Las Vegas, as well provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship of all Regional Sales Managers and monitor and report on all sales activities in the regions.

As part of our commitment to your success, we’ll provide this senior leader with a wide array of support, including Sales Development Resources, Technical Sales Resources, and Sales Strategists.

Ideal candidates will have at least 5 years of experience in the parking industry and a demonstrated hunter mentality. Successful candidates will also possess the ability to

  • Prospect and identify key executives at target companies and lay the foundation for a strong, long-lasting relationship.
  • Develop and build partnerships with strategic key customer personnel through a "top-down" consultative selling approach.
  • Develop and qualify opportunities within large enterprises.
  • Drive the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement to closed sales
  • Manage, track, and report sales activities and results in Salesforce and Zebrafi.
  • Develop and manage strategic sales plans.
  • Provide management reports, budgets, forecasts or data that may be requested by senior management.
  • Achieve budgeted/targeted financial goals.
  • Advise senior management of anticipated changes in customer needs or market direction and assist in defining the future needs of these markets.
  • Effectively manage, administer, and maintain market intelligence data and submit accurate sales activity/call reports into the Customer Relation Management System (CRM) – Salesforce & Zebrafi.
  • Provide accurate reports for expenses with appropriate documentation.
  • Performs any directly related appropriate duties assigned by the Executive Vice President of Sales.
  • Promote and contribute to a team-focused, positive, cooperative working environment.
