What you’ll do:
In this role, the People Op’s Generalist will be responsible for providing general HR support, assisting with larger initiatives as well as maintaining the day-to-day workings of the department. The ideal candidate should be professional, motivated, and energetic with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Responsibilities will include:
Preparing and formatting communications for internal and external distribution This includes writing emails and compiling and tracking data for internal reporting
Ensuring company committees are meeting their goals, staying organized, and events are well prepared
Coordinating production of all-company events; source and secure and manage all aspects of event production leading up to the event
General management of HR documentation (including employees’ records) and retention, training and other special projects
Participation and assistance with other team members on larger HR initiatives. This can include performance management and annual review process, engagement surveys, learning management, and internship/mentorship programs
Managing new hire on-boarding process. This will include holding weekly on-boarding sessions, processing I-9 verification, adding new hires to company systems, managing the new hire buddy selection process, and hosting a virtual meet and greet session
Process terminations and conduct exit interviews
Process payroll on a bi-weekly basis
Other responsibilities could include:
Conducting audits of HR programs and functionalities and following through with corrective actions, as needed
Providing additional support on an ad hoc basis, as needed, and being prepared to multitask
Support the Senior People Op’s Generalist as needed
Keeping up to date with latest HR trends and best practices
Who you are:
3+ years of related experience
Flexibility to adjust priorities based on the needs of the company
Highly organized and detail oriented; excellent time management
Proactive problem-solving capabilities
Outstanding interpersonal skills; dedication to going the extra mile
Effective oral and written communication skills
Entrepreneurial and team-oriented spirit with ability to effectively work across all levels of the organization
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Experience in the field of event planning
Proficient in Outlook, Excel and MS Word
