Project Manager (Atlanta, US)

We are looking for several mid to senior-level Project Managers to join our fast-growing team. Working closely with the Director of Agile Portfolio Management, the Project Manager will play a critical role within ParkMobile, managing activities for all phases of the project lifecycle to ensure the successful completion of projects. This person will have the ability to help shape the PMO by contributing to process improvements and documentation to ensure that ParkMobile applications continue to deliver the best possible user experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the primary point of communication for projects across teams
  • Create project schedules for team alignment and delivery on-time
  • Facilitate and document discussions, key decisions, action items, and follow-ups
  • Manage work prioritization with internal stakeholders and team members
  • Develop status reporting to communicate project health, progress, surface dependencies as well as blockers, highlight risks, and manage expectations
  • Practice risk management to proactively anticipate and manage risks
  • Create contingency plans to prepare for all potential scenarios and outcomes
  • Manage financials such as estimation, burn reporting, and monthly billing
  • Lead and monitor deliverable definition scoping for projects
  • Leverage project management and Agile/ Scrum methodologies, understanding the balance between these practices and values, and how to best use them effectively
  • Assist with resource planning to balance team member workload and identify constraints
  • Contribute to process documentation and improvements across the organization
  • Serve as the bridge between upper management and project execution teams
  • Educate team members on project management best practices
  • Foster a continuous improvement and learning culture across teams
  • Cultivate an environment of trust and positivity and assist with conflict resolution
  • Create lasting partnerships with all team members and stakeholders
  • Ensure delivery of the highest quality service and proactively address customer and team feedback
  • Encourage a balanced work pipeline that reduces technical debt, provides business value, and delivers features for customers
  • Maintain an understanding of product offerings and in-flight enhancements

Who You Are

  • Experienced with digital projects such as web, app, or software development
  • Comfortable leading cross-functional medium to large complex projects
  • Confident leading meetings and driving decision-making
  • Able to quickly put structure in place to manage work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Enjoy facilitating product and integration planning, progress tracking, retrospectives and reporting using Scrum and project management methodologies
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent time management, multi-tasking, and communication skills both verbal and written
  • Can work with stakeholders at all levels across various departments and build lasting partnerships
  • A hands-on creative problem solver with strong influencing skills
  • Excel at identifying impediments and quickly removing them
  • Comfortable contributing to process and technology improvement initiatives
  • Curious about emerging technologies and engineering challenges
  • Familiar with Agile and Project Management methodologies
  • Experience with MS Office, work-tracking tools such as Jira, and Project Management tools such as timeline, resource management, and budgeting software
