Marketing Event Specialist (Charlotte, US)

As the Marketing Event Specialist at Passport, you will play a critical role in positioning the Passport brand across regional events. You are a coordination ninja that is not afraid of a challenge and never misses a deadline. You have a ton of creative ideas and stay on top of the latest trends to make events fun and effective while staying within budget. Passport is known for constantly pushing the envelope and being the most innovative company at events. We have dressed up as astronauts for a ‘Mars white label app’ booth theme. We’ve had a slot car race track in our booth & hosted client appreciation events with live band karaoke. Are you ready to help us make a mark in the transportation industry?


  • Increase Passport’s brand by coordinating our presence at regional industry trade shows
  • Assist in our ability to make data-driven decisions by tracking event metrics
  • Organize event logistics, sponsorships, and pre-/post-event communications
  • Work with the sales team to facilitate lead management from events
  • Research and monitor regional association event opportunities for future participation
  • Keep track of expenses as related to events and sponsorships
  • Oversee Passport’s promotional inventory program
  • Coordinate quarterly webinars to strengthen Passport’s thought leadership presence


  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant field experience
  • 2-3 years experience coordinating tradeshows and events
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proven aptitude for creative thinking and attention to detail within demanding deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
