We are seeking an experienced, diligent, and passionate Project Manager to lead the successful onboarding of new clients. This individual will be responsible for simultaneously overseeing and managing multiple software and hardware implementation projects. The PM will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, according to budget, within defined scope and with a focus on excellent customer experience.
The ideal candidate for this position will have strong experience in project management, with a particular emphasis on software implementations. Hardware implementation experience, specifically in the Intelligent Transportation Systems space is a bonus.
Role and Responsibilities
Maintain a familiarity with Rekor’s technologies and product features/capabilities.
Work with engineering, project and customer success teams to plan and coordinate various implementation projects.
Engage and receive commitment from internal and external team members and project stakeholders.
Create and maintain project documentation, project plans, & budgets.
Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs.
Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
Develop and execute on Change Management plans with customers to ensure product adoption and successful onboarding.
Assist with defining end user workflows ahead of Go-Live.
Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term project and customer goals. Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis. Oversee and manage project change orders.
Identify and manage issues as they arise with each project, with the knowledge of when to escalate issues or consult with others as needed. Log and track all issues and ensure all are resolved accordingly.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Management, Engineering or related field
3-7 years of technical project management experience in the technology sector
Ability to understand and convey technical software concepts to customers
Strong leadership skills as it relates to stakeholder and resource management.
Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills
Highly adaptable and agile in a fast-paced hyper-growth environment; able to thrive within ambiguity.
Willingness to travel up to 25%

Experience in management consulting is a plus.
Ability to create project-related templates
Ability to shift priorities quickly and be flexible.
Ability to drive the teams towards a common goal by knowing who to contact for what issues and how to mobilize their support/action.
Strong technical aptitude and ability to take quickly process information and adjust plans and schedules.
Strong ability to collaborate and share information to ensure essential personnel are kept apprised of project changes.
Ability to interpret technical discussions from engineers and translate the information to customers in a meaningful way.
Strong writing skills to assist with editing client-facing materials.
Experience developing and implementing Change Management plans to ensure successful adoption of products.
Knowledge of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) and Advanced Traffic Management Systems (ATMS)
