Help desk technician

to support the Technical Service Center of our subsidiary Scheidt & Bachmann Parking Solutions Germany GmbH in the Parking Solutions division at the Mönchengladbach location.

Your tasks

  • You will process international customer inquiries and support tasks in the area of our system solutions including applications and operating systems.
  • Your tasks also include answering and recording technical faults and user questions in Service-Now by telephone.
  • They analyze and rectify faults and configure our systems via remote maintenance.
  • They perform software updates and review the results.
  • They support error investigations in other departments.
  • Outside of normal working hours, you are on call if necessary.

Your profile

  • You have successfully completed a technical or electrotechnical training, preferably in the IT environment, as well as basic commercial knowledge or a commercial training with an IT focus.
  • Initial work experience in the service business is advantageous.
  • First knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu) / Windows Server and script programming is advantageous.
  • Knowledge in the area of network technology is required.
  • You work well with MS Office.
  • Your high service and customer orientation underpin your distinctive communication skills.
  • We require a good knowledge of English.
  • You have an independent and team-oriented way of working.
  • You enjoy occasional business trips.
  • Your very good communication skills in customer support complete your profile.
