Job Description

SKIDATA, is the worldwide leader of customer loyalty and professional access control solutions for ski areas, sports venues, amusements parks and performing arts centers. SKIDATA’s Portland Oregon office is looking for a talented individual who is personable, well organized and highly skilled in software development.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be primarily responsible for writing back-end code for our Loyalty Application. The position will appeal to someone who likes to juggle many priorities all at once in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with a strong team atmosphere. We will rely on you to develop code for our customer-facing engagement platform working with customers from the NFL, NBA, NHL, Attraction and SKI markets. In this role you will:

  • Develop new features and functionality using the very latest developer tools for our customers and applications running on the Microsoft stack including HTML5, RESTful WebServices, Docker and SQL Server.
  • Participate in problem analysis with business users and assist in determining software solutions and enhancements
  • Provide maintenance break/fix support for existing and future products.
  • Assist with process automation

Required Skills

  • 2+ years of related .Net development work experience.
  • Proficient in C#, Visual Studio, T-SQL, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and web forms.
  • Experience with multiple .Net patterns and platform technologies like client/server, ASP.Net sites, web services, WCF endpoints, SOA, or MVC.
  • Desired experience utilizing agile software practices or working in an agile environment using:
    • scrum software development practices
    • automated unit testing
    • continuous-integration
    • code reviews
    • version control systems
  • Strong communication skills and work ethic
  • Demonstrated history of staying current on best practices in technology
  • Ability to pass Drug Screening
