Responsible for supporting the sales process and the Sales Team (regional managers, national accounts, technical sales), cross functional partners, executive team and customers. This position works within the sales and support teams for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation and long-term account goals with company vision and values.
Essential Functions and Basic Duties
Responsible for day-to-day sales functions such as estimating, order entry, order expediting, and problem resolution, as well as having a constant awareness of impact on profits.
Work closely with Director and Outside Sales to support the sales process (e.g. Document Meeting Results, Begin Quote Request Process, etc)
Provide daily communication and status updates with sales team
Develop and build key relationships with customers and dealers
Work closely with sales team and other business units to ensure that the customer’s needs are met and work to ensure that all customer quotes are done in an accurate and timely manner
Coordinate efforts between outside sales and estimating teams to meet customer needs
Direct customer inquiries to appropriate sale manager
Create monthly update for dealers to include operational and sales information
Review and respond to RFIs, RFQs and RFPs. Responsible for the administrative deliverables and timelines
Prepare presentations and proposals
Support coordination of job processing post-sale (e.g. Help coordinate legal review of sales contracts, Follow Post Sale Job Tracking Process, Complete Deliverable for handoff to Dealer/Installation Team etc.)
Manage Sales tracking documents, metrics and CRM
Manage sales funnels
Assist in planning and execution of sales meetings
