Virta is looking for a Sales Manager who is motivated and competent in the field of EV charging sector. The person will ensure sales development and close deals in the market of the Southwest, the East or the Paris region. Ideally, the person will work in New Aquitaine, Occitania, Rhône-Alpes Auvergne, Provence Alpes Cote D'Azur or the Isle of France to develop potential customers in one of these regions.

The ideal candidate should be motivated to work independently prospecting and making B2B calls. The Sales Manager will need to have 1+ years’ experience with cold calling and lead generation, and the ability to quickly build rapport with potential clients and close the sales deals.

Responsibilities:

  • Strive to understand the customer's needs and provide knowledge and awareness to make a business of EV charging and clean energy services to more comprehensive SaaS-based solutions
  • Ensure that the ambitious sales targets are met in the given region (Paris, New Aquitaine, Occitania, Rhône-Alpes Auvergne, Provence Alpes Cote D'Azur or the Isle of France)
  • Maintain existing customer relationships and be able to expand the company’s customer base
  • Develop as a priority the following customer segments: hotels and hotel chains, condominiums, real estate developers, parking companies (public and private), parking operators, installer network

Requirements:

  • A proven track record of selling technical products. Preferably in EV technology e.g. charging stations or other electrotechnical equipment
  • Experience of EV Charging and EV platform sales
  • Ability to build strong and trusted relationships and to manage existing accounts as well as build and close new deals
  • Capability to understand technical products
  • You are result-driven and self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to convince other people
  • Experience of cold calling and lead generation
  • Proven record of meeting or exceeding the sales targets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English. Additional languages are seen as an advantage
  • Ability to work independently and travel within France
  • Residence in one of the given regions (New Aquitaine, Occitania, Rhône-Alpes Auvergne, Provence Alpes Cote D'Azur or the isle of France)

The main working language of Virta is English, however, being a part of the French team the French language skills will be required. Virta employees are a group of international, motivated and sustainability-minded employees.
