Senior Sales Manager, Real Estate Sector - DACH region (Berlin, DE)

Virta is looking for a highly motivated and competitive salesperson with business development skills to secure growth in Europe. You will be linked and supported by the HQ in Finland and our other offices in Berlin, London, Paris, and Stockholm.

This is a brilliant position in an innovative forerunner company in the booming smart energy management and EV charging sector, contributing to the Real Estate's carbon neutrality journey while generating new revenue streams. Responsibilities

  • To understand Real Estate investors, owners, and property managers needs and provide knowledge and awareness to make new revenue streams from electric vehicle charging, clean energy, and smart energy trading services
  • Build up business cases together with a customer and their partners
  • Ensure that the ambitious sales targets are met with the selected Real Estate customers
  • Prospect qualification, development, and execution of new sales opportunities and secure ongoing monthly recurring revenue streams
  • Pipeline management, sales process management including effective forecasting and opportunity closure
  • Maintain existing customer relationships and be able to expand the company’s customer base

Requirements:

  • Min 5+ years working history with Real estate investors, developers, and property managers will help you to get access to the management level and present business case with a new revenue stream from Virta service
  • Knowledge of Real Estates’ PropTech, ESG, sustainability, and carbon neutrality activities
  • Experience in smart EV charging and energy management/trading a definite advantage
  • Ability to sell Value i.e. value-based selling and pricing
  • Previous sales experience gained within software or service sales organization (ideally within SaaS and Platform sales) in managing a large number of Customer cases at any one time
  • A proven track record of selling complex solutions and projects
  • Experience operating Sales Playbooks and digital sales tools, like HubSpot
  • Commercially astute, experience in developing business case, value, and ROI together with customer’s personnel
  • Ability to build strong and trusted relationships at the top management level to build and close new deals
  • Capability to understand technical solutions and build commercial business reasoning to support decision making
  • Ability to negotiate and argue based on the value
  • You are result driven self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to convince and be trust
  • Fluent written and verbal communication skills in German and English. Additional language skills are an advantage in French, Spanish, Swedish, or Italian
  • Ability to work independently and travel internationally
  • Your professional activity in online and social media is appreciated
