Prepare for the 1st Latin American Parking Congress

From the 28^th to the 30^th of October 2014, Brazil will host the premier of a key international event for the parking industry: the 1^st Latin Parking Congress.  The event is a result of a partnership between Abrapark, IPI and Expo Parking, and will occur together with the 4◦ Brazilian Parking Congress.

Among the international speakers confirmed for the event is the manager of urban administration of Austria-based SKIDATA, Simone Frank, who will present customer-focused integrated service solutions for parking facilities. Another highlight is Bernd Beer from Germany, parking designer of AMP Parking Europe, who will address the most important criteria in the development of the design to improve the user-friendliness of parking facilities. Among the Brazilian speakers is the general manager of Quercus Brazil, Luis Virgil, who will present parking facilities in Brazil and around the world that use automated license plate recognition technology.

The event will also includes a debate on the development of the parking industry in Latin American countries, bringing together panelists from Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Argentina and Mexico, such as Alejandro Jaramillo, Eduardo Bayón and Alexandre Von Teuber. Speakers from the US include Liliana Rambo and Shawn Conrad, president and CEO of IPI. Laurens Eckelboom, executive vice president of Park Mobile, will also speak about parking on public roads from four different aspects.
