PIPS Technology: Celebrating 10 Years as the Industry Leader in Automatic Number Plate Recognition
PIPS Technology has recently enjoyed its 10 year Anniversary. The occasion was marked with a small celebration for employees, past and present. PIPS Technology evolved from Pearpoint Image Processing Systems in 2001, when they employed just 5 people and had just a handful of products. Today, PIPS has over 50 employees and an ever growing product range, keeping at the leading edge of the industry.
Over the last 10 years PIPS has deployed over 20,000 ANPR cameras around the globe and opened offices in America and the United Arab Emirates.
PIPS received the Queens Award for Innovation for the Spike camera, the worlds first fully integrated ANPR camera. PIPS Technology has been awarded numerous accolades and were named by the Sunday Times Microsoft Tech Track 100 as Britains 14th fastest growing technology company.
PIPS has a proud and dedicated team of staff who strive every day to make the company successful and give customers a valued and personal experience. Some of the largest projects in their 10 year history include supplying the cameras for the London Congestion Charging Zone and the Low Emission Zone respectively. PIPS has also supplied cameras to countries throughout the world.
