Central Parking Announces Appointment of Cindy Baier as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Ms. Baier brings extensive experience to Central Parking. Her background includes both public and private company experiences, as well as an in-depth knowledge of complex organizations and transformational assignments. Most recently Baier served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Movie Gallery. Baier has also served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for World Kitchen, LLC; President and Chief Operating Officer for Whitehall Jewellers, Inc.; Senior Vice President and General Manager for Sears, Roebuck and Co., where she was responsible for the Credit and Financial Products division reporting to the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer; and General Dynamics Corporation. She currently serves as a Director of Bon-Ton Stores, Inc. Baier began her career with Arthur Andersen & Company where she was a manager in the audit practice. She is a graduate of Illinois State University, where she earned an MS degree in Accounting in 1987 and a BS degree in Accounting in 1984. Baier is also a certified public accountant.

She brings to our Company a wealth of financial experience, as well as a proven record of strong leadership and significant accomplishments. The timing of Cindy's joining the team is important as we are beginning to see some positive signs of our business improving, as well as our efforts to implement key strategic initiatives to better leverage our business. Ms. Baier's appointment follows the decision by John Hill, who has served as the Company's Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since October, 2007, to transition out of his current role with the Company.
