Central Parking Releases Mobile Coupons in New York
Central Parking System, Inc. (Central) today announced an enhancement to its new proprietary parking app that will allow customers in its New York market to download coupons directly to their iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch device. The app is available at the Apple App Store, or via download at the Companys website. It is free and includes information on parking for New York, as well as over 50 cities across the United States.
With this new enhancement, customers will be able to directly download the mobile coupons and then redeem them at participating Central locations throughout the New York area simply by showing the parking attendant their device. The mobile coupons offer discounts of up to 50% on parking at over 120 New York area Central Parking locations. For those customers who prefer to print coupons, the app also offers the option to email a coupon and then print it for redemption at participating locations.
This is an exciting new enhancement to the Central iPhone app that will allow on-the-go consumers easy access to discounts at our parking facilities, said Vincent Raguseo, Vice President of Marketing at Central. We realize that consumers are becoming more mobile, relying on their mobile devices to keep them connected and informed, and Central is responding with products that meet their needs.
Here in New York we are always looking to introducing new leading edge technology that makes our customers lives less stressful, added Hector Chevalier, Senior Vice President for Centrals New York Region. Increasing access to parking information while they are away from home or the office, and then coupling that with easy access to discount offers is a powerful combination for our customers.
In addition to developing new feature enhancements for its app, Central is constantly adding new parking locations and will soon be introducing an Android version of the app to the market.
