Dundas Shopping Centre, Middlesborough

Recently refurbished, the Dundas Shopping Centre is one of the three main shopping centres within Middlesbrough. Anchored by B&M Retail and In Shops, the Centre benefits from its own 280-space basement car park.

The new contract tasks Excel with tailoring the tariff towards users of the shopping centre and to improve overall car park usage.

Head of National Sales Gareth Hughes comments:

"The existing tariff at the Dundas Shopping Centre car park is currently the highest in Middlesbrough and this has alienated the core market that the car park should be attracting. By reducing the tariff in conjunction with a town centre promotion, Excel will return the car park back to the shoppers and this in turn will increase parking events and shopping centre footfall."

One of the key elements of this agreement is the open book partnership approach with Henry Lax Ltd where there is shared risk and reward.

The car park is open 07:00 to 19:00 Monday to Saturday and 09:30 to 16:30 on Sundays
