Fritz Mumenthaler to take over as new Ascom CEO on 1 April 2011

The Board of Directors of Ascom Holding AG has appointed Fritz Mumenthaler as the new CEO of the Ascom Group.
pic-mummentahler-140x153.jpgOn 1 April 2011, he will succeed Riet Cadonau who will take over as CEO of the Kaba Group on 1 July 2011. Fritz Mumenthaler has served as Deputy CEO since 2007; he has an excellent track record with strong international experience and a strongly dedicated customer focus.

Fritz Mumenthaler (52) has been serving as General Manager of the Wireless Solutions division since 2005 and also as Deputy CEO of the Ascom Group since 2007. Prior to that he held various management positions at Siemens Building Technologies and Landis & Gyr. He earned a degree in business administration at the Universities of Berne and Neuchâtel (lic. rer. pol.) and also obtained an MBA from INSEAD in Fontainebleau near Paris.

Fritz Mumenthaler will continue to act as General Manager of the Division Wireless Solutions until a successor has been appointed.
