National Parking Association Announces 2011 Convention: Innovation: Linking Knowledge and Networks

Parking Industry Professionals Event Set for Oct. 3-6 in Las Vegas, Nevada
Washington, DC (May 4, 2011) The National Parking Association's 60th Annual Convention & Expo, October 3-6 in Las Vegas, Nevada, focuses on peak performance, parking best practices, sustainability and cutting edge technology.

Nationally known New York Times columnist Paul Sullivan, author of Clutch, will keynote the 2011 Convention. Every organization wants top performers who can perform in the clutch, and Sullivan brings practical insights on performance excellence. Rated one of the best business books of 2010 by strategy+business, Paul Sullivan will look at how parking professionals can learn how to perform at their best, no matter what.

NPA's Convention & Expo features four tracks: peak performance, sustainability, technology and Certified Parking Professional (CPP) certification. Industry experts and thought leaders will present insights, expertise and a perspective on parking in 2012 and beyond. NPAs peer networks and roundtable discussions provide private and public sector professionals access to peer experts and best practices worldwide.

NPA is setting a new course with a convention focused on the future, strategic opportunity, best practices and performance results, said NPA President Christine Banning. NPA is a vibrant and growing trade association representing the owners, executives and parking industry decision makers across the private and public sectors. Our convention will reflect that research, trends and best practices in parking, technology and sustainability that prepare parking professionals for success now and in the future, added Banning.
