TagMaster North America and Watry Design, Inc. Successfully Deploy Parking Solution for Exclusive Residential Community

TagMaster North America, Inc., the leading provider of identification solutions recently installed high performing LR-6 Pro readers and MarkTag MeM Tags at Azure Apartments for secure and convenient resident parking and access control.

Space constraint, coupled with limited curbside area for parking access equipment proved to be a challenge for Azure Apartments. The placement of an outside parking access system would have created the potential for pedestrian conflicts as vehicles would block sidewalks to access parking. Another potential issue they wished to avoid was the possibility of vandalism and weathering of equipment, both of which would decrease the value of the luxury apartments at Azure. Needing a forward thinking solution, they turned to TagMaster and Watry Design, Inc. to create a combined parking and access control strategy. “RFID technology that allows users to enter the structure without stopping to scan a keycard or receive a ticket solved both problems,” said Matt Davis, Associate Principal with Watry Design. “Not only does it create a better user experience for residents, but it also provides more value to the developer.”

Azure Apartments required a long range vehicle access solution to increase vehicle throughput upon entry and exit as well as prevent traffic congestion. With TagMaster’s LR series LR-6 reader and MarkTag MeM having a read range of up to 40 feet, the gate was triggered immediately upon secure identification and the problem of pedestrian and vehicle congestion was eliminated. This solution for Azure Apartments and other high rise urban development increased home values, improved security, and increased the overall quality of life for the residents.
