TwistHDM Announces the Integration of LimeLights Wireless Lighting Control Technology with Philips Outdoor LED Luminaires
LimeLight, the leading wireless lighting control system, will now be offered exclusively as an integrated system within Philips Outdoor LED luminaires, creating energy efficiencies and performance capabilities previously unattainable.
TwistHDM, the parking industrys leader in wireless lighting controls, today announced the exclusive alliance of their LimeLight control technology integrated with Philips Outdoor LED luminaires.
After evaluating numerous tier one LED manufacturers, our team found the Philips reputation as the leader in luminaire technology, coupled with the direction of their overall LED portfolio, to be extremely attractive, says Lee Eilers, President of TwistHDM. Parking garage owners and operators will now benefit from the latest enhancements of LED luminaires in combination with wireless controls, which catapults both technologies to an extreme level of performance.
LimeLights control system will manage the Philips luminaires through its Zigbee-based wireless control technology. The LimeLight radio, consisting of a 0-10V variable driver, automatically adjusts each luminaires light output based on the amount of natural light during the day, while leveraging motion sensing functionality in the evening hours. The ability to perfectly calibrate the facility throughout the 24-hour cycle is the true power of the system, says Pat Burel, Director of Technical Services at TwistHDM. In balance with the substantial energy savings, the safety of the parking patron is also a key driver in the development of the algorithms. Our ability to ignite an entire floor or flat lot area to full light output with clear line-of-sight visibility is a key feature of the system. The system is fully web-enabled, providing all grouping, scheduling, energy reporting, and immediate email notifications of any outlier activity.
