Apps Network Appliances Inc (ANAI GLOBAL) deploys Advanced Parking System at a new Premier Public Parking Facility in Downtown Toronto

ANAI GLOBAL is pleased to announce the installation of its advanced License Plate Recognition System and Multi Payment Kiosks for the parking system at The Daniels Corporations public parking facility located at 27 Widmer Street, in the heart of the Entertainment District. The system is sold under ANAi’s Nautical Technologies Brand.

The license plates are tracked live through the NauticOnline PARKING Portal operated and managed by ParkSmart Inc., a leading Canadian parking management company. The system tracks all vehicles in real time. Visitors park and proceed to one of the ANAI MOJO payment kiosks located on each level. The user then enters the amount of time they wish to stay, their plate number and makes payment using a valid VISA, MasterCard, or AMEX credit card. A receipt is provided and they are on their way. There is no need to return to their vehicle.

Once paid the plate number is transferred to the paid list. The cloud-based system tracks all permits, all transients payments and total cars in lot at any given time. Unpaid vehicles plates are sent to the enforcement file for follow-up.

ANAI offer a complete cloud-based ticketing system that can be standalone or integrated with other enforcement databases. NauticOnline cloud-based parking portal is an ideal application for condominium owners who are able to use the app to reserve or notify concierge that they have a visitor coming in advance. It is also ideal for Restaurants and Shop merchants allowing them to validate parkers live with the validation application.

We have received some great customer comments regarding the system.” Many parking operations confuse simple Pay by Plate with License Plate Recognition. Pay by Plate is the ability for a patron to enter their plate number into a payment machine, cellular application, or other device. The patron does not need to return to their vehicle to place a ticket in their dash however enforcement and tracking of the plate still is required and must be manually checked at each lot with Pay by Plate. ANAI developed the very first and only integrated License Plate Recognition system which tracks all plates that enter and exit the facility and creates a “white list” that provides real time status of vehicles on the premises, vehicles paid, and plate numbers that have not paid or their paid time has expired. In addition the cloud-based permit system tracks all tenant and other monthly contract parkers as well. The result is the property owners (in this case The Daniels Corporation) are ensured a convenient and user friendly experience for their parkers while receiving the most effective control and maximization of every parking stall.
