Arivo Provide a 5* Welcome Experience for Hotel Guests

Arivo and Fiegl+Spielberger have implemented an innovative access solution for the parking garage at the Designhotel Perron in Salzburg. This modern and smart parking solution offers a special welcome experience for all guests.

The Hotel Perron, with 120 rooms located in the middle of the city of Salzburg at the Bahnhofsplatz, allows only authorized persons from  the hotel or the local bank to enter the parking area.

Access to the parking area is granted only for authorized persons from the hotel or the local bank which is also located in the same building.

The requirement for the parking lot management: Access only for authorized people, users can be clearly distributed to the two garage areas for the hotel at parking level 1 or the bank at parking level 2. In addition there was the request for control of occupancy rate at any time and the parking lots must be secure.

 Fiegl+Spielberger, the largest electrical engineering company in Western Austria, and Arivo, experts for digital parking systems, offered an intelligent access solution that meets all requirements. Three roller doors (entrance, exit to parking level 2 and general exit) are used to prevent unauthorized persons from entering the car park.

The automatic license plate recognition is linked with a control system that guides the car park user to the right section of the parking level. The parking management software can be used at any time to control and optimize the utilization and capacity of the car park.

"In the first 2 weeks after implementation, there were already 1,100 entries and exits that worked smoothly," says Meinhard Berger, Head of Greentec at Fiegl + Spielberger. "Customers and hotel guests are thrilled. The guest or customer will receive an invitation to access the parking garage by e-mail or text message before arrival. So he knows exactly where the hotel is located. The reception will be informed when the guest or customer reaches the car park and can prepare the check-in perfectly".

A second project for a hotel located in Schladming is already being implemented.
