Rental of terminals - a popular concept!

Not long ago, Cale introduced the rental of terminals as a new financing concept. This allows the customer to limit the initial investment cost and start making money from day one. Cale can take care of as much or as little of the operation as the customer wishes, and CWO is of course included in the rental cost.

In many cases, renting is an ideal solution for customers who are new to the market, or who only have a smaller number of terminals.

Renting seems to be a popular concept that many customers have been waiting for, and, so far, rental agreements have been signed in a number of countries. We believe that more markets will follow.

Picking up speed in Spain

Following the success stories at Ejea de los Caballeros and Ponferrada, the operator Empark has reiterated its confidence in the Cale brand by ordering a number of CWT Compact terminals for the City of Huesca. They are configured for coin payment and ready for future contactless card payment.

The customer will utilise some new, innovative functionality for this installation. A few examples are data export of statistics to Empark’s third party server, live on-going purchase for enforcement, as well as the function where the customer within a certain period of time can cancel a fine at the terminal through paying a lower amount than the fine.

Soon to come, it will be possible to check even in offline mode if the customer is entitled to this cancellation.
