Car Charging Group Completes First Installation of Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Station at Park, Bark and Fly in Orlando

Car Charging Group, Inc., a provider of electric vehicle (EV) charging services, has completed the installation and is now providing EV charging services at Park, Bark and Fly, the largest offsite parking facility near the Orlando International Airport, with more than 2,500 parking spaces.
"Park, Bark and Fly is focused on providing its customers with a unique parking experience and now those customers that drive EVs can charge up while they travel," said Michael D. Farkas, Chief Executive Officer of Car Charging Group, Inc. "Airport parking facilities are an excellent location for EV charging stations and we are excited to partner with Park, Bark and Fly to help meet the all encompassing needs of their customers. We will monitor usage and demand and expand our EV charging services at Park, Bark and Fly as needed."

"Our focus from our inception in 2006 has been to provide our customers with an off-site parking experience that exceeded the consumer experience at on-site airport parking lots," said, Domingo Pietri, Supervisor of Park, Bark and Fly. "We are experiencing a growing number of customers parking EVs at our facility and want to provide these customers with the ability to re-charge while traveling, waiting to pick up passengers or conducting other business at OIA. We're excited to partner with Car Charging Group to offer our customers another beneficial service as well as to participate in the growing initiative to install EV charging stations across the U.S. and support a greener and cleaner transportation lifestyle."

At Park, Bark and Fly, Car Charging Group has installed a Level II, 240-volt, EV charging station, manufactured by Coulomb Technologies, the leading EV charging solutions company. Park, Bark and Fly customers now have access to the ChargePoint Network, the largest global online network connecting EV drivers to unoccupied charging stations. Car Charging Group will provide flexible payment options, the ability to make reservations, and tracking of customer usage patterns, energy use, costs and revenues, all via the ChargePoint Network's cloud-based software service plans for managing EV charging operations. Through the network, EV drivers benefit from ChargePoint mobile apps (iPhone, Blackberry and Android), mapping services and driver support services.

About Car Charging Group, Inc.

Car Charging Group, Inc., headquartered in Miami, Florida, is one of the nation's fastest growing providers of EV charging services. Our ultimate mission is to establish a nationwide infrastructure, enabling EV and Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV)  owners to charge their EVs anytime, anywhere in North America and ultimately Europe and Asia. Our strategy is to be a "first in" strategic partner with businesses, municipalities, shopping malls, parking garages, multi-family residential and commercial properties, and others who are expected to have high numbers of EVs at their locations. We work with our landowner partners to identify appropriate locations for their units and then install and maintain the EV charging units. Since we launched operations in 2009, we have developed relationships with [29] leading partners that own more than [6.4] million parking spots. More than one million plug-in electric vehicles, such as the Nissan LEAF, GM Chevrolet Volt, Fisker Karma, Tesla Model S, Ford Focus EV as well as many others, are expected to be on the road by 2015 with estimates calling for more than 40 million on the road in 2030.

About Park, Bark and Fly

Founded by Pete Madison and Bob Stout in January of 2006, Park Bark and Fly is at the forefront of parking services offered in the Orlando airport area, seeing the value in providing an 'off-site' parking experience that paralleled or exceeded the consumer experience at on-site lots. Rather than sending customers to a general pick-up location somewhere in the lot, the Company shuttles customers directly from their parking spaces to their airport check-in location, as well as assist customers with all of their luggage, minimizing efforts on the customer's part. Guests don't even need to worry about their return as the Company has a continuous shuttle service offered 24/7/365, guaranteeing their return trip to be as quick and easy as possible. Park Bark and Fly is conveniently located 1.4 miles from the Orlando Airport and is the largest off-site parking facility in Orlando; we are also the first off-site parking service to accept EPass, SunPass and OPass toll road transponders for payment.  In addition to our many other time saving services, we have partnered with many pet boarding facilities throughout Central Florida to provide the best in pet boarding and lodging to customer's four-legged friends and ease their travel worries. Additionally, the Company offers parking for Recreational Vehicles (RV's) and Boats as well, all at competitive prices. Our lots are well-lit and secured, offering both covered and uncovered parking.
