IKEA uses CIRCONTROL as parking technology supplier

One of the most prestigious home and furniture chain in Europe, IKEA, has decided to use the parking guidance system CIRPARK at its Milano shopping center. The IKEA parking, with more than 400 spaces uses the latest technology of ultrasonic sensor with VMS displays that shows alternatively text and number to the driver to find the free spaces in the fastest way.

Additionally, IKEA has been the first shopping center in installing intelligent recharging station for electric vehicles in Italy, becoming also part of the green movement.
The system installed is part of the product line CIRCARLIFE, one of the most advanced recharging stations worldwide, which includes a power consumption metering with RFID prepayment cards, anti-fraud electricity system to avoid people removing cables and power management. The choose of Circarlife was made in order to avoid customer claims for damage battery because this is the only system that monitor the power quality.
