Digital Payment Technologies Named to Deloitte's 2010 Technology Fast 500 in North America
Attributes Its Rapid Growth to a Focus on Innovation and an Increase in Customers and Partnerships Across the U.S. and Canada
Digital Payment Technologies (DPT) today announced that it ranked number 382 on the Technology Fast 500, Deloitte's ranking of 500 of the fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and clean technology companies in North America. Rankings are based on percentage of fiscal year revenue growth during the period from 2005-2009. Digital Payment Technologies grew 224 percent during this period.
DPT's Chief Executive Officer, Andrew Scott, credits the company's increased revenue growth over the past five years to a focus on technological innovation and customer support, leading to deployments of multi-space parking pay stations in more than 250 cities across North America. The company was the first to deploy parking pay stations with Wi-Fi connectivity, color screens, an advanced back-end management and reporting system, over-the-air device configuration and real-time credit card processing.
"Being named one of the Technology Fast 500 is a real testament to the talented and hardworking staff at DPT on whom our success is based. Together with our partners, we have created an advanced ecosystem of technologies that deliver a complete parking solution to our customers. At the heart of it are leading-edge parking pay stations that will enable a new generation of parking services to drive increased convenience for parkers and increased revenues for our customers," said Scott.
Technology Fast 500 recognizes innovative companies that have broken down barriers to success and defied the odds with their outstanding five-year revenue growth. DPT has been included multiple times in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 and Fast 500.
"With its remarkable growth from 2005 to 2009, DPT has earned its position among the fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and clean technology companies in North America and deserves our congratulations," said John Ruffolo, National Leader, Technology, Media & Telecommunications Industry Group, Deloitte Canada. "Deloitte is proud to honour Digital Payment Technologies for this accomplishment."
