EasyPark Group Announces Revolutionary New ‘Parking Dashboard’

Helping cities to leverage big data to manage parking search time

EasyPark Group CEO, Johan Birgersson, unveiled a brand-new product which promises to completely change the way cities and parking operators manage their parking, resulting in more efficient and effective parking operations.

The new digital platform, announced on the second day of the European Parking Association’s annual Congress, is known as the ‘Parking Dashboard’. The platform is designed as an all-in-one command centre for parking, providing cities and parking operators with unparalleled insights and a comprehensive overview of the current parking situation in their city.

There’s an overwhelming amount of data and information available to cities and parking operators on a daily basis. For many it has become extremely cumbersome to navigate through, which is why we have developed a solution that extracts the most useful and relevant data, visualizing it to achieve new insights,” said Birgersson.

The Parking Dashboard brings together a few key components of parking management: inventory, zoning, pricing, and restrictions. On top of this, users are also able to manage enforcement data at the same time. Most importantly, for the first time ever parking operators will also be able to see the average parking search-time on a macro and local area level in their city.

Birgersson says that finally, parking management teams can manage all aspects of their operations in one place, including that important link between parking and mobility: Parking Search Time.

We’ve simplified parking management and taken care of all the hard work so you don’t have to. We’re taking the complexity out of data collection and tracking for cities and operators so they can be empowered to make the right decisions which will have a positive impact on search-time and off-street occupancy,” he said.

Focus on ease of use and quality design

According to Chief Business Development Officer, Mauritz Börjeson, the Parking Dashboard is set to change the way we manage parking forever.

This project is the culmination of 15 years of hard work in the industry, throughout which we have been carefully listening to the needs of our partners. We want to help cities and operators to maximise the potential of their operations, so we’re very excited to offer this cutting-edge application,” he said.

Leveraging our team of consumer app UX design experts, our Parking Dashboard system delivers the same consumer-grade user-experience to parking management that EasyPark customers have access to every day. Why should B2B interfaces be more difficult to use than consumer products? It’s so simple to use and allows you to do in seconds what previously took hours or even days.”

EasyPark is currently rolling out the Parking Dashboard to existing partners in 2017 but soon it will also be available to new partners.
