The shareholders and the boards of the PES Group, United Kingdom and of the Zeag Group, Switzerland have decided to merge, with immediate effect, the companies in order to create a new, strong global provider of comprehensive parking solutions and
services. The new company will operate under the name of Zeag
csrb_news.jpgZeag Parking Ltd, based in Spreitenbach near Zurich, a world leader in the development, manufacture and distribution of parking and revenue control systems brings to the new organisation its famous Orion-ZMS parking system, a worldwide distribution network with subsidiary companies in Canada and Switzerland.

Parking Equipment & Services Ltd, based in London and Halifax, with subsidiaries in the USA and South Africa, complements Zeag ideally with its comprehensive system support and maintenance know how, its large installed base and complementary products.

The merging of an experienced service provider and an ISO 9001 certified partner with high competence in manufacturing and distribution, will considerably strengthen position of the new organization as a leading global player.

The new Zeag Group shows an impressive installed base of well over 3500 sites. There are prominent references such as the airports of Chicago O’Hare, Minneapolis, Singapore, Manchester, Calgary, Johannesburg, Copenhagen, the shopping centres Colombo in Portugal, Solihull in the UK and the Gateway in South Africa, the Parking Authorities of Toronto and Geneva, famous operators such as Interpark, Apcoa-Standard, NCP, Central Parking, Interparking, EuroPark among many others in 23 countries worldwide.

Increased market penetration, expansion to new markets and the continued development of its competitive product range are major strategic targets together with improved customer care and support. The Group will further strengthen its partnership with its international clientele.

The new Zeag, now part of the Hallmark Industries Group of companies will be headed by Mr. Christian Schmid, CEO and delegate to the board of directors. The enlarged company will be headquartered in Spreitenbach, Switzerland, which is Zeag’s current operating base.
