Urban Digital Parking: HUB’s Latest Projects Around the World

On the other side of the planet, HUB Parking Australia is supporting the Bankwest Stadium in NSW to achieve fast traffic management, even during busy events, thanks to a ticketed LPR solution and VMS panels that provide customized messages.

Urban drivers all over the world have experienced a massive transformation in the way they travel and can expect to see more in the near future. New processes and procedures for a seamless, safe journey are most successful when they actually offer not only a way of minimizing contact with other people and public surfaces, but also multiple options for drivers to select the service that actually meets their needs, hence alleviating the stress of parking.

The urban mobility ecosystem had adapted accordingly, every large city at its pace but with a common trait: the benefits from adding a digital layer to “traditionalaccess control.
The solutions that go beyond touch-free access, and make it easier for drivers to safely park, bring enormous value to parking owners and operators too. In fact, digital platforms that rely on an integrated approach and multimodal management simplify operations, and unlock great data mining potential: parking habits, occupancy management and analysis, and much more.

HUB digital solutions offer absolute ease of access and autonomy to drivers while supporting owners' and operators’ long-term success, through advanced analysis of customers’ behavior.
Lately, HUB’s teams around the globe introduced clients from different sectors and geographies to the digital transformation of parking, tailoring solutions that include web-based parking management software Janus Management System, as well as mobile apps JPass and J4M Merchant.

In the USA, HUB Parking is working with the most prestigious university in Minnesota to install a new and technologically advanced PARC system throughout the campus, including 34 gated parking facilities. In addition to 128 lanes and 19 pay-on-foot pay stations, LPR technology will be installed in every lane to reduce ingress/egress time and minimize contact with external surfaces.

For employees and students, it’s going to be an all-mobile parking experience thanks to HUB’s JPass and J4M Merchant apps. JPass comes with university brand and colors, to grant them a completely touchless experience through Bluetooth technology and digital tickets. The latter safely and easily turns smartphones or tablets into an efficient validation unit, simplifying the application of parking discounts of many sorts – a powerful tool for smart operators.

On the other side of the planet, HUB Parking Australia is supporting the Bankwest Stadium in NSW to achieve fast traffic management, even during busy events, thanks to a ticketed LPR solution and VMS panels that provide customized messages. The controlled access of vehicles also means more control over the number of pedestrian accesses at events, hence compliance with social distancing measures.

Staff members, long-term parkers, and pre-paid ticket holders are granted a quick entry and a fast exit, with no need to stop to pay at the Exit Lane. To allow pre-bookings and loyalty programs, HUB Parking Australia also provided the gateway to make JMS communicate with a third party booking solution, accessible either via a mobile app and website, and a third party loyalty program.

Loyalty and membership programs can also be processed directly by HUB’s J4M. In Dubai, HUB Parking Middle East worked with GymNation Al Quoz, a 45,000 square foot space that is part of the largest UAE gym chain. The gym not only offers a dedicated app and a wide variety of virtual classes to its members, but also 24/7 gated parking fully equipped with HUB stations and Magnetic barriers, an efficient parking guidance system, and monitoring through JMS. And J4M Validation solution is available for the gym staff, to give 2-hour parking validations to gym members – when it comes to client loyalty, parking is a much-appreciated token.

Another ambitious project from HUB Parking Middle East is in Kenya. I&M Bank is a renowned commercial bank in East Africa, that has recently inaugurated new headquarters in Nairobi, Kenya. In cooperation with Riana Group, HUB Middle East provided a parking system that matches the company offices' environmentally conscious design. The system is completed with LPR technology for employees and subscribers’ access and provides a fast exit for guests. The equipment is swiftly managed through JMS, once again granting flexibility and ease of monitoring to the facilities staff.

Each project was thoughtfully tailored by HUB Parking to address each customer’s needs and provide them with the best solution for their operators and drivers, maximizing the use of parking space and ensuring a smooth flow of arrivals and departures at peak times. A seamless, safe journey with digital solutions!
