Zeag Canada & Liberty Plugins, Inc. announce electric vehicle charging station alliance
LPIs EV chargers to be integrated with existing ZEAG parking systems as parking facility owners prepare for the arrival of Electric Vehicles later this year.
ZEAG Canada, a leading provider of automated parking management solutions, and Liberty PlugIns, Inc. (LPI), the leading developer of Electric Vehicle Service Equipment (EVSE) for the parking industry, today announced a sales and technology partnership that enables parking facility owners and operators to install and control LPIs EV charging stations with their existing ZEAG parking management systems.

This approach reduces the cost of adding EV chargers and gives our clients complete control over the revenues generated.
Under the terms of the agreement, ZEAG Canada will add LPIs Synchronous Code Generation technology to their system architecture. Ticket issuing terminals will generate a charging authorization code that will be printed on the customers parking ticket. The driver parks at an open charging station, enters the code on the charger, and connects the cord to the vehicle. The charging process automatically ceases when either the vehicle is fully charged or the charging time purchased has expired.
