International Parking Institute Honors Tampa Port Authority Channelside Garage Expansion

The IPI Award of Excellence Program recognizes and applauds the trend toward facilities that are aesthetically appealing, as well as functional, and encourages excellence and efficiency in parking design.

TimHaahs joined the Kraft Construction Company and HKS Architects team to design this essential infrastructure project for the Tampa Port Authority. TimHaahs provided parking consultation, functional design and structural engineering services for the garage expansion. This project supports growing parking demand at the Port, contributing to the growth of tourism in the city and throughout the region. TimHaahs congratulates the Tampa Port Authority on this prestigious award.

In addition, IPI also honored Timothy Haahs with the 2011 Board of Directors award presented by IPI Chair, Cindy Campbell for his years of dedication to the association. Tim is a true ambassador for IPI and the parking industry, Tim is a true visionary. He sees opportunity where others might not, said Campbell.
