London Stansted Airport go live with new Altitude software release

Inventive are pleased to announce the launch of the latest version of the Altitude Reservation system. 'The latest version of our reservation system includes lots of new features' said Inventive's CEO John Charnock 'one of the key features is the ability to have a responsive designed front end booking website that provides a consistent user experience across all devices including mobile, tablet and desktop. This new functionality enables our customers to completely redesign and the booking website's look and feel providing an even greater degree of flexibility'.

This is the first airport parking website that we've seen that is truly designed to three different breakpoints (mobile, desktop and tablet). You can really see the difference this makes when viewing the site on a tablet device and rotating to portrait view. A consistent experience when using tablet view (in both landscape and portrait) is extremely important as a large number of website visitors now use these devices'

The London Stansted booking website now also contains a grid view for search results. The grid view makes it much easier for customers to quickly compare products side by side. Usability studies indicate that this type of search result view performs well as users naturally scan the screen left to right.
