MobileNOW! Expands in South Orange, NJ

MobileNOW!, a global technology innovator and world’s first mobile payment solution for parking, is expanding mobile payment throughout all on-and-off-street single and multi-space metered spaces in the Township of South Orange Village, New Jersey.

Earlier this year, MobileNOW! partially deployed mobile payment in South Orange. Residents and commuters may pay for parking using the free MobileNOW! app, or by calling a local phone number using the MobileNOW! IVR system. In real time, parkers may extend their sessions remotely from anywhere, without the hassle of returning to their vehicles.

Since inception, consumer adoption and parking revenues have increased steadily in South Orange.

“The South Orange Parking Authority is pleased to partner with MobileNOW! to bring to all of South Orange another convenient payment option,” said Mark Hartwyk, Director, South Orange Parking Authority. “After a successful year piloting this program at two train stations, we have now made it available at all meters and pay stations. We look forward to future collaborations with MobileNOW! to bring South Orange additional value added parking options.”
