MSR-Traffic expands in Austria

Due to the increased demand and potential in the neighbouring country, MSR-Traffic has decided end of 2015 to open its own sales office near Vienna. The new employee Christoph Riedl has taken over the management of the new branch office.

"Christoph has gained extensive traffic engineering experiences in his previous job at the firm Axis and had close contact with MSR-Traffic on a major project in Vienna where more than 3,000 outdoor sensors were installed under his local supervision. Nobody else scrutinized our system so much as he did. His previous studies in ITS again underpin his expertise in this field and perfectly fit for us.", said CEO Harald Schmitt.

Riedl is also motivated and looks forward to his new challenges: "The quality of the products and the growth of the young dynamic company have convinced me at once - now it is essential to better communicate this brand also in my home country. Parking guidance systems both for indoor and outdoor areas are especially required in shopping malls, recreation centres and in cities, in short – everywhere there is a lot of parking search traffic."

MSR-Traffic offers parking systems for counting as well as for single space detection – for indoor or for outdoor use. Whatever technology you decide to use, all data can be transmitted to a server for further processing. The web based software ParkGard Control Center displays all parking spaces and allows a user-friendly operation including evaluation of statistics. The wireless connection to signposts and LED displays is possible as well so as to provide a complete parking management system.
