Mercedes AMG once again relies on MSR-Traffic

The high-performance brand of Mercedes-Benz produces the most powerful standard models in the vehicle program of the automotive company. Strong Services that again require strong technology from MSR-Traffic.

MSR supplies already the second parking guidance system to Affalterbach, to optimize the logistics and traffic in the neighbouring parking garage.

Again, each of the 510 parking spaces is equipped with the sensitive ultrasonic sensors and each level with custom-programmed controllers of MSR-Traffic.

To achieve a complete single space detection, the top level was, despite the lack of shelter, also equipped with ultrasonic sensors and special housings.

MSR-Traffic’s first Mercedes-AMG project

Mercedes-AMG, headquartered in Affalterbach, can count a parking garage its own, where new vehicles are parked directly after production. From there, the high-performance models are delivered to customers worldwide. In order to ensure the high quality standards of the automotive manufacturer in this last part of the production process, Mercedes-AMG uses innovative parking management systems from the Bavarian company MSR Traffic.

Multi-storey car park equipped with 422 single space sensors

Each parking lot of the AMG-parking garage is equipped with an ultrasonic sensor and each level with special customized controllers from MSR Traffic. Each parking slot is detected by a sensor, which transmits the data (free/occupied) to a SCADA software that manages the number of free
spaces and organises several parking reservations.

Due to this visualized overview, the new cars will be routed directly to the next free space and are connected with the associated customer data, which is relevant for the delivery. This facilitates the disposition and delivery process in the garage and saves valuable time in planning. Thanks to this technology, services from Mercedes-AMG can be organized more effectively, smoothly and efficiently.

MSR-Traffic systems totally convincing

Vehicle detection, customized parking level controller and individual software from MSR-Traffic enable the counting and single-space detection of cars. Long lifetime, high accuracy and best quality are convincing many customers.
