Park Assist has Been Awarded the Parking Guidance System for the Parking Garages Located in Lake Nona Town Center

Park Assist has been awarded the Parking Guidance System (PGS) for the parking garages located in Lake Nona Town Center in Orlando, Fla.

The growing, mixed-use 100-acre regional shopping and entertainment destination is just 25 minutes from downtown Orlando in the center of Lake Nona’s bustling, neo-urban community. Already home to two award-winning hotels and a variety of restaurants, shops, and entertainment experiences, Lake Nona Town Center will expand with the addition of a Cinépolis Luxury Cinema, 110,000-square-foot health and wellness facility, and Boxi Park, an outdoor entertainment district, all coming soon.

The client, Tavistock Development Company, was looking for a reliable system to accommodate the expected high occupancy volumes for Lake Nona, one of the fastest growing communities in the country. The new installation will replace an ultrasonic pilot PGS with the patented M4 smart-sensor system that uses camera-based technology to provide elevated accuracy and safety features to parking facilities. Travistock Property Management will be able to interact with actionable data through Park Assist’s proprietary suite of software features. The interactive data displays parking preferences and usage patterns, allowing management to streamline operations to maximize efficiency. The new PGS installation will be conducted in two phases. Two of the garages have been completed, with two more scheduled to break ground in 2019.
