Park Assist has been awarded the Parking Guidance System (PGS) contract for the Desert Diamond West Valley Casino located in Glendale, Arizona.
Park Assist’s M4 camera-based smart-sensor Parking Guidance System installation will be part of a $400-million-dollar expansion that when completed, will have expanded into a full-scale casino and resort. The project occupies over one million square feet including a 75,000 Square Foot Gaming Floor with 5 restaurants. The facility is conveniently located in the Glendale Sports and Entertainment District, home of the Arizona Cardinals, and the Arizona Coyotes. When construction at the facility is complete, there will be two covered parking facilities containing 1,785 parking spaces available for visitors.
Desert Diamond West Valley Casino’s parking facilities will feature Park Assist’s M4 camera-based smart-sensor Parking Guidance System. The M4 camera-based smart-sensor PGS is used to help quickly and seamlessly guide visitors to available parking spaces. The patented, camera-based technology guides visitors upon entry to vacant spots using color-coded, smart-sensors, saving visitors time and getting them to their destinations more efficiently. As construction at the venue comes closer to completion, additional features that Park Assist offers, will be selected and implemented to the venue’s Parking Guidance System.
The Park Assist M4 camera-based smart-sensor Parking Guidance System was selected by Desert Diamond West Valley Casino to enhance the customer experience by getting customers to their final destination, The Casino, in a timely manner. The M4 PGS will prevent visitors from searching for an empty parking space, which will ultimately give them more time in the venue, the Casino liked the versatility of a camera-based PGS and after evaluating other Park Assist client testimonials and experiences they chose Park Assist to revolutionize the customer experience, by providing both convenience and ease to the parking journey. The first phase of the project, which includes the casino expansion and the two parking garages is expected to be completed by the end of 2019, and is being completed with partner, Graybar Electric and Technology Integrators.
“We are thrilled to partner with Graybar Electric and Technology Integrators and Desert Diamond Casino West Valley to provide casino guests with an unparalleled parking experience worthy of the customer-centric experience Desert Diamond West Valley prides itself in delivering to its visitors” said Vince Balsamo, General Manager – North America.
