PARKEN 2017: Highlights at a glance

PARKEN, the only German exhibition with a conference to be held in parallel on the topics planning, construction and operating of parking areas, will be representing numerous highlights at Karlsruhe, Germany from 21 – 22 June 2017.

Top issue: Smart mobility

At PARKEN visitors will find a comprehensive product portfolio as well as current information on latest trends and individual solutions. More than 100 exhibitors will show their wide range of topics from parking equipment through maintenance to the top issue smart mobility,” underlines Simone Pfisterer, Vice President Mesago Messe Frankfurt GmbH.

Also many small and medium-sized companies, e.g. Feig Electronic GmbH, Triflex GmbH & Co. KG and ICA Chipkartensysteme GmbH & Co. KG will be exhibiting at PARKEN to present their product portfolio to a highly-qualified audience of operators of parking facilities, planners, architects, representatives of the public administration as well as service providers. Moreover, exhibitors from abroad will be on-site, such as Parking Network BV from Maastricht, Netherlands, Park Assist from New York, USA and TIBA Research & Developement (1986) LTD. from Petah Tikva, Israel.

Newcomer Pavilion: First-time exhibitors are representing

Especially the “Newcomer Pavilion”, which is already booked out, offers young companies the possibility to exhibit easily and cost-effectively at PARKEN. Among the participating companies are Eichenauer Heizelemente GmbH & Co. KG, exercon Consulting GmbH, SCEMTEC Transponder Technology GmbH and symCharge GmbH.

Accompanying conference: Even more compact knowledge transfer

Under professional management of the German Parking Association (Bundesverband Parken e.V.), the parallel held conference will take place in addition to the exhibition.

(…) In 2017, the conference will be even more compact than in the previous years with four speakers and will be finalized by a panel discussion,” underlines Gerhard-Trost Heutmekers, Managing Director Bundesverband Parken e.V.

This year, the thematic focus of the conference will be latest and exclusive insights into the field of autonomous driving and parking. Moreover, the increasing influence of digitalization and its political significance will be discussed.

Side-program: Networking at top-locations

At PARKEN 2017 visitors have the opportunity to deepen their exchange, to reunite with industry peers and to establish new contacts in a relaxed atmosphere. Therefore, the hotel and restaurant „Hoepfner Burghof“, offers the perfect ambience. On the first event day, Bundesverband Parken e.V. invites to the “Center for Art and Media” (ZKM) at a landmarked industrial building in Karlsruhe. Conversations that were held during the day can be continued in combination with an exclusive tour through the museum.
