“Path to Park”, the first urban parking assistance application

Say goodbye to the stress, irritation and countless detours that usually come with city parking! Parkeon is offering a new tool intended for city drivers: the “Path to Park” application. In sync with its commitment to innovation and services, the city of Issy-les-Moulineaux is the first French local authority to try out this service.

Free and available, initially under the iOS system, “Path to Park” is able to predict and locate nearby parking areas, based on powerful statistical calculations…it is also able to guide you to them!

Use of big data for an innovative idea from which everyone can benefit.

Key global player in the urban mobility sector, with more than 50% of the worldwide network of pay and display terminals, Parkeon has access to considerable volumes of data regarding the habits of city drivers. By structuring these data and carefully considering the parking dynamics in each city, each district and each street, “Path to Park” calculates in real time the demand for parking in the area where the driver would like to park, so that this driver can be directed to areas where he/she is most likely to find a space.

Issy-les-Moulineaux: a pioneering position at the service of the residents of Issy.

“Path to Park” is being launched for the first time in the town of Issy-les-Moulineaux. “We would like to test out new digital solutions which make travels easier in urban environments and “Path to Park” is one of these solutions” remarks André Santini, the Mayor of Issy-les-Moulineaux. “It provides users with even more comfort as it also proves to be a real asset in terms of limiting the impact of traffic caused by motorists who are looking around for a space

Bertrand Barthelemy, CEO of Parkeon, points out: “Being able to adapt to new mobile uses, promoting our global expertise, contributing to better managed urban mobility and providing a service to local authorities and also users are just some of the challenges that we meet head-on on a daily basis“.

After Issy-les-Moulineaux, “Path to Park” will be launched shortly in Ile de France area and in a dozen or so urban areas throughout the world.
